The day the Easter Bunny and Easter Chick surprised all Pownall children with treats, books and high fives!

Classes also took part in many Easter themed activities, including a bonnet competition and cat walk, and themed lessons.

“Reception explored the number twelve, with a large ‘nest’ with 12 eggs, feathers and an egg box for a dozen eggs. The children were so engaged, they problem solved and had some brilliant conversations around how many eggs they had and how many more they would need to make 12. My favourite kind of learning is when it is led by the children and open ended tasks like these. Brilliant Maths Reception, thank you for letting me join you as you egg-splored number 12!” Mrs Flynn.
