Form 6 welcomed artist and printmaker Joanna Allen to school to share her print making techniques with the children.
Joanna has worked with some leading fabric producers in the UK such as Liberty London and the National Trust, designing fabrics and greeting cards.
In their art lesson, the children learned a technique called collagraph. They each made a vase and built up layers of texture using corrugated cardboard. They then painted in between the cardboard and put their design through a print maker, which they printed the design onto paper.
