The whole school came together this week to celebrate the power of music in a magical, two day musical festival. The children dressed up as musical instruments or musical artists, which caused great excitement!
Throughout Thursday and Friday, all classes enjoyed a musical workshop. Our youngest pupils enjoyed a day of music with the Concerteenies and Polly Ives. Mrs Thomson played her beautiful, golden harp and the children sang along to the story ‘Mixed’, which was sung and narrated by Polly Ives. Mixed is about different colours with different personalities and therefore very different sounds!
Form 1 though to 6 took part in a number of workshops including body percussion, samba band and making music to the story Mixed.
