At Pownall Hall School, admissions are personal, thoughtful and carefully guided. We take time to understand each child and family, ensuring that Pownall Hall is the right fit academically, socially and emotionally.
Whether you are exploring schools for the first time, considering an in-year move, or planning a future relocation, our admissions process is designed to be clear, supportive and unhurried.
We do not hold large open events. Instead, families are invited to visit Pownall Hall through a private, one-to-one tour with the Headmaster, allowing you to see school life in action, ask questions that matter to you, and gain a genuine sense of our close-knit community.
Our Admissions Team works closely with families throughout the process, offering guidance, clarity and support at every stage.
Children join Pownall Hall at a range of entry points, from our Woodland Nursery through to Form 6. We also welcome families joining mid-year and those relocating from overseas, subject to availability.
Wherever your starting point, each child is considered as an individual and supported carefully as they settle into school life.
The best way to understand Pownall Hall School is to experience it for yourself.

“A belated thank you for taking me, [my wife] and [our son] around Pownall Hall. As I said at the time, I am so impressed with what you and the team have accomplished, it is an amazing institution and I so appreciate the history. Since then we have looked round a couple of other schools but nothing has compared.
